my husband anthony is a freelance photographer in chicago. he shoots for a wide range of clients and i am happy to mention his work is currently on the cover and throughout this month’s cs magazine. i am hoping to post some of my favorites photos of his here on float notes in the upcoming weeks. he also did my headshot and the photography on my site (which we will be updating soon). thanks tony!

getting started…

so, this is my first blog and the last few posts have been tests more than anything. above is a float design available on minted.com, a submission from a previous bridal shower invite challenge on the site. the font, look and colors were inspiration for my blog layout.

go outside!

the weather is calming down in chicago now – and it is beautiful! i am hoping that the super hot and sticky days are gone. take a minute and go outside with a pal. i prefer a nice break in our backyard with marvin, our boston terrier.

wow. i was a bit of a tomboy growing up, and when i was younger i would have LOVED these awesome star wars sheets. i am delighted and super surprised that these are now available thru pottery barn. i will keep these in mind in the future! are they available in a king? www.potterybarnkids.com
